Patricia Duff,

Patricia Duff is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in caring for complex cardiac patients. She graduated with honors from Widener University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and later earned a dual master’s degree in nursing from San Diego State University.

Patricia began her career as a progressive care nurse, specializing in the management of advanced heart failure patients requiring left ventricular assist devices and/or heart transplants. After completing her master’s degree, she further broadened her clinical expertise by working in the emergency department, which deepened her understanding of a range of cardiac and non-cardiac conditions.
Returning to her passion for cardiology, Patricia joined Inova’s Heart and Vascular Institute, where she provided critical care in one of the nation’s most complex Cardiovascular Intensive Care Units, helping patients recover from major cardiac surgeries. To complement her extensive cardiac experience, she also worked in a cardiac catheterization lab, where she was involved in procedures such as cardiac stenting, permanent pacemaker implantation, transcatheter aortic valve replacements, and ablations.

Now part of Capitol Cardiology Associates, Patricia brings a wealth of knowledge and firsthand experience in managing a wide array of cardiac conditions, along with a compassionate approach to patient care.
