Robert J. Wagner

Dr. Robert J. Wagner, Jr. is a board-certified general surgeon who has been practicing in the DC and Maryland area for nearly 20 years. He will be leading our vascular lab in Hyattsville, where he will handle new consults, office visits, and perform outpatient surgeries. Dr. Wagner's clinical interests include minimally invasive therapy for peripheral arterial and venous disease, wound care, lymphedema therapy, and central venous compression syndromes.

He earned his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University in Florida and completed a one-year internship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Wagner then completed his surgical residency at York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania, graduating in 2004. Since then, he has resided and worked in Calvert County, Maryland, holding positions at Calvert, Charles Regional, Southern Maryland, and Doctors Community Hospitals.

Dr. Wagner and his wife, along with their four children, are active members of the Calvert County community.
